Simon helped us to stay in business.
We used Simon from Addjust to help us through some very intense and aggressive lease agreement negotiations.
Initially we were told by our lawyer that we should agree to our landlords new lease agreement terms such as a rent increase of 300%; plus other contract clauses which involved our businesses opening and closing hours, products we could and couldn’t sell and our contribution towards the buildings upkeep.
Simon told us he disagreed with our lawyers input so we were sceptical at first but agreed to use his services as a 300% rent increase would have meant we would have been working for next to nothing as business owners.
Within a week Simon came back to us with his recommendations which we accepted and passed on to our lawyer, even though our lawyer questioned Simon’s recommendations, we believed Simon was right and the eventual outcome for our business was excellent.
There was no 300% rent increase, we’re only responsible for the upkeep of our shop internally, we can open and close when we like, and sell what we want!
Simons expertise helped us to save thousands of dollars a year, which means we can comfortably stay in business now. We are also more confident ourselves of our future business negotiations and dealings thanks to Simon.
In the future when we need to, we will use Simon again for his business advice.
